I met Pari Noskin Taichert at the 2003 Bouchercon. Her first book was about two months from publication. We chatted one evening while she waited for friends and I liked her instantly. She is poised, animated, and has a joie de vivre that would be hard for anyone to dislike. I concluded her books would be filled with the same energy and decided on the spot to buy them when they came out. I have not been disappointed.

You will also want to know that Ms. Taichert is a public relations consultant and I imagine her books will be giving good inside info. While reading, I've found myself thinking that Sasha's recommendations to her clients are no-nonsense, practical, well thought through and thorough. They seem obvious once heard, but putting it all together is the artful part.
